Safe online shopping in Pakistan: 8 checks before you order

Updated 10 October 2026

Online shopping in Pakistan has grown fast, and so have fake stores and confusing return policies. These eight checks take a couple of minutes and save a lot of trouble.

Before you order

  • Use the official website: type the address yourself, or use a site that links to official stores. Be careful with social media pages that only take orders in messages.
  • Check the address bar: the store's own domain, with a padlock (https).
  • Read the return and exchange policy, especially on sale items, which are often final sale.
  • Check the size guide for that brand — sizes differ between brands.
  • Look at the delivery charge and time before you reach the payment page.
  • Prefer cash on delivery or a trusted payment method with a new seller.
  • Never share a one-time code (OTP) or your card PIN with anyone who calls about your order.
  • Keep the order confirmation and tracking number until the item arrives and fits.

If something goes wrong

Contact the store through the details on its official website and keep your messages in writing. If you paid by card and the seller won't help, your bank may be able to dispute the charge. Ask your bank as soon as you can.

Shop sales from official stores

Every item on AtDealPoint's online sales links to the brand's own online store. We read prices from those stores and never sell anything ourselves, so you buy directly from the brand.

Frequently asked questions

How can I tell if an online store in Pakistan is real?

Check that you're on the brand's official domain, that the page uses https, and that it has clear contact details and a return policy. Be careful with pages that only take orders through social media messages or ask for full payment to a personal account.

Is cash on delivery safer?

With a new or unfamiliar seller, cash on delivery limits your risk because you pay only when the parcel arrives. Some stores add a small fee for it.

Can I return sale items?

It depends on the store. Many brands sell sale items as final sale or exchange-only, so read the policy before you order.
